I've been in the skin care industry for over a decade so I can say with complete confidence that men just don't care for their skin as well as they should. They work hard and play hard while exposed to all the damaging environmental elements such as the sun, wind, pollution, and harsh temperatures. Their pores hold years of buildup I like to refer to as pore-scum that needs to be professionally cleaned out.
One of my favorite spa stories to date is the day a fellow came into the spa for a facial his wife had scheduled for him. He was obviously put-out by the appointment and aggressively stated, "I'd rather be out on the golf course" while he begrudgingly filled out his skin-care questionnaire. But once he layed down on the heated table, and I started massaging his face, he completely relaxed. His attitude about the appointment made a complete 180. He commented multiple times about how good everything felt and that he had no idea how wonderful a facial was. He emerged from the treatment very satisfied and relaxed with fresh, re-balanced skin and looked at me and said that he was grateful his wife pushed him out of his comfort zone and scheduled him that appointment.
For you skeptical men out there, think of a facial as a TUNE-UP for your face. I promise you, you'll see and feel an immediate improvement in the hydration, texture, and cleanliness of your skin. Plus the upper body massage included with the facial is so worth it. Remember your face is the first thing everyone sees when they talk to you. So it's best to keep it maintained. Come give it a try.
